Vertex is currently accepting applications for a full-time Hot Oiler & Pressure Truck Operators for our Lloydminster, AB location. The successful candidate must have experience working in the field and must have valid oil field tickets.

Compensation: Experience based
Benefits: After successful completion of 3-month probation period
Shift Rotation: Flexible, 7 & 7 or 14 & 14 shifts.
Accommodations: Camp work when out of town.
CANDIDATE QULIFICATIONS
- Class 1/3 license with a clean commercial abstract
- Hot Oiler Operator: 5 year experience
- Pressure Truck Operator: 5 year experience 5k & 10K
- Experience operating vacuum trucks and fluid hauling considered an asset
- Mandatory safety tickets required: H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space (option) & CSO
- Minimum 5 year oilfield experience
- Preference given to candidates with well servicing/ Rig experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Drive and operate all equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Ability to demonstrate competent operation of equipment
- Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
- Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, FLRA’s, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips
- Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction by always providing excellent customer service
- Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date
- Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, waste manifests etc.
- Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods; this is a 24-hour business and the hours can be erratic
- Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites
- Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
- Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet and confined spaces when required
