What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager - IP East position at Vesuvius USA?
Key Result Areas:
- Responsible for personal health and safety and that of direct reports while conducting Vesuvius business.
- First line of communication from external customer to internal Vesuvius support groups on all issues.

Recognize and act on opportunities for continuous improvement in:
- Refractory performance
- Customers’ efficiency
- Vesuvius profitability
- Communicate relevant customer and competitive activity to management and marketing staff, including market share data
- Implement account strategies within overall company strategies.

Manage daily service activities such as:
- Inventory control
- Product sales forecasts and delivery schedules
- Timely reporting
- As needed, work with customers regarding payment of Vesuvius invoices
- Monitor Vesuvius product performance and collect and report on performance data as appropriate
- Coordinate with customers’ personnel relative to use, installation and handling of Vesuvius products including refractory material.
Work with marketing and technical support teams to sell new offerings and implement emerging technologies
