Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (highly advantageous)

• 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor (essential)

• Working knowledge of Maximo maintenance system

Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical control systems, cleaning procedures, and maintenance

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices

• Effective performance management

• Fantastic organizational and leadership skills

• Great eye for detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

• Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related communication tools

• Great time management skills

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance of production equipment

• Guide the development of Maximo system

Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime

• Oversees technicians that repair and maintain the production and test equipment

• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures and tracks equipment performance identifying opportunities for improvement

• Manages training programs to ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures

• Maintains inventory and/or spare parts

• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads

• Employ, supervise, and train workers

• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities

• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time

• Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage

• Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site and ensuring that the maintenance team are adhering to all safety procedures

• Conduct preventative maintenance work

• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work

• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
