We are seeking a Quality Manager for our client at their Longmont, Colorado facility with prior experience in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments, such as Operations, R&D and Finance, ensuring compliance with established standards, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in quality management with great leadership and communication ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Submitting PPAP packages to customer as well as review PPAP from suppliers
· Evaluate and report on KPIs
· Train and guide employees
· Implement safety guidelines
· Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
· Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
· Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
· Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
· Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
· Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
· Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
Qualifications:
· Previous automotive experience as a Quality Manager
· Must have strange knowledge of AIAG standards
· Must be an IATF 16949 certified auditor
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
· 2 years of experience with SAP
· 4 years related experience as a Quality Manager
· Good Communications Skills (Oral and Written)
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Proven problem-solving skills and excellent customer service skills
· Strong decision-making skills
· Team player\building positive working relationships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
