IT Support

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Support role is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities within the organization. This role will help determine the IT needs of the company and assist the IT Manager in implementing computer systems to fulfill the company’s information systems requirements.

• Set up 3 servers with Proxmox (VM Server).
• Migrate VMWare VMs to Proxmox.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the company’s network, servers, and phone systems.
• Assist employees with technical issues.
• Deploy new security software (anti-virus/malware/ransomware) to increase overall security.
• Migrate systems to a new backup provider to ensure company data is backed up.
• Create Exploded Kit in Acumatica Customization (.Net C# Developer).
• Create PriSync (Competitor Pricing Software) Integration in Acumatica (.Net C# Developer).
• Create Address Validation with FedEx in Acumatica (.Net C# Developer).
• Ensure users are filling in correct Ship Vias in Acumatica (.Net C# Developer).
• Create Sales Margins Report in Acumatica (Acumatica Report Developer).
• Develop reports in Acumatica, including Active but No Purchase and Sales History, Inventory Item Catalog, Inventory Price List, and Sales Profit by Vendor and Inventory.
• Update Backorder Fill Report to show orders that need allocation by sales personnel and automatically email a copy to the sales team daily.
• Import new containers to Acumatica, apply against open POs, and send to the warehouse for receipt.
• Import new pricing in Acumatica.
• Create Inventory Adjustments in Acumatica based on Inventory levels in Jasci (Laravel, PHP).
• Create, develop, and manage cutting-edge PHP web applications on portals and paid service platforms.
• Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) group to create innovative apps.
• Ensure shared JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are credible and reliable across apps.
• Develop an app for dimensioners in the warehouse to scan parts, dimension them, and update Acumatica and Jasci with the new dimensions. The app should also audit logs of the parts being scanned with images (Laravel, Vue3).
• Manage all apps using standard development tools.
• Use backend data solutions to expand current data service APIs.
• Develop custom business solutions to integrate and automate existing software systems.
• Oversee the entire web development lifecycle from idea stage through delivery and post-launch maintenance.
• Properly convey work progress, assessments, proposals, timetables, and technical and analytical difficulties.
• Document the development process, standard components, and architecture.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
• Create a Laravel script to automate invoicing web orders when shipment is confirmed, handle refunds for overcharges, and apply changes to the invoice.
• Develop a replacement MP2 for printing and location labels (Laravel).
• Create an API for the new company website to feed front-end data (Laravel).
• Develop middleware to be the source of data for the company (Laravel).
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage systems, and phone systems.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
