How You Will Make a Difference What you will do: Drive strategic sales growth across Sport Chek, JD, Nordstrom & special projects Cultivate and Deliver Go-To-Market (GTM) processes with a specific focus on apparel and footwear. Lead national initiatives. Develop and Fuel business that drives long term strategic growth plans. Validation of decisions with data driven insights Keen focus on white space to deliver growth specific to consumer needs Lead cross functional partnership to deliver next level consumer connectivity Accelerate with digital first approach. Fuel business with innovative tactics to unlock digital momentum. Drive wholesale forecast, keen understanding of account OTB and financial flow, sell in and sell thru metrics needed to propel long term results Daily communication with Customer Service to track and monitor order entry, order maintenance and shipping. Management of key account claims, allowances, markdown requests, return to vendor requests and marketing/event expenditures. How you will do it: This position is fast paced and will be responsible for driving a dynamic wholesale partnership. This person will be a key liaison for connecting sales, merchandising, and marketing to develop a collective vision across the brand that comes to life within our commercial business. Skills for Success A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. Years of Related Professional Experience: 10 years in sales – footwear and apparel preferred. 5 years of experience with Sport Chek and / or sporting goods stores required. Travel by air and overnight, as required 20-25% amount of time.
