ABOUT THE POSITION
CRM Marketing Analyst – Any VHB office
Under moderate supervision, the CRM Marketing Analyst manages and develops critical marketing and sales information and data in VHB’s client relationship management (CRM) system. Finds creative solutions to research, organize, and maintain information in a CRM platform. Analyzes end users’ business processes, workflows, and needs to develop areas to elevate the CRM system for use in pursuits, client focus, and other business development initiatives. In support of VHB’s business development program and CRM, responsible for utilizing Azure DevOps and transforming business needs and user requirements into a set of functional technical specifications. Assists with testing existing DevOps work items. Supports data accuracy and analysis of trends and patterns of CRM data.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as CRM and marketing database super user.
- Understands VHB’s Focus Forward Business Development Approach and how our CRM supports the program. Supports maintenance, reporting, and accuracy of marketing and business development metrics in the CRM and reporting dashboards (i.e., win-loss, opportunity pipeline).
- Ensures that the CRM’s capabilities are continuously evolving to meet the needs of the business and end users.
- Serves as a liaison between end users and the development team. Solicits product and enhancement requirements from end users and converts requests into workable solutions. Communicates requirements to the development team with specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation utilizing Azure DevOps.
- Identifies system bugs and tracks in DevOps. Supports troubleshooting of issues and communicates with end users.
- Identifies project milestones, phases, and elements.
- Identifies ways to improve CRM use by automating basic, everyday tasks.
- Reviews data and provides strategic analysis and trend reporting of marketing and business development information. Helps to establish workflows and standards in the CRM.
- Performs quality control duties to increase efficiency and improve system processes and functionality. Identifies opportunities to further leverage information technology to streamline business processes.
- May define the need for custom solutions and escalates issues for resolution as needed. Creates and maintains end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, data catalog, metric definitions, process flow charts, training materials, in-line support).
- Supports the development and testing of highly complex custom CRM reports and dashboards.
- May receive specific assignments to compile, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data extracted from the CRM system and report moderately complex data in a usable format to facilitate informed decision making.
- Exercises independent judgment handling moderately complex issues and problems. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.
- Participates in professional and personal development aligned with career goals.
- Performs all job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and VHB policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of business systems analysis experience
- BA/BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Experience with relevant technological system(s) and software platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, VisualSP) preferred.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using reporting tools to extract data from systems (PowerBI preferred).
