MISSION: We partner and innovate with our customers to provide the highest quality, life enhancing medical devices in the world. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:• Sets up tooling and dies on time per machine/setup schedule for release to the floor shop team members. • Assist with grinding tools for associates on the floor as needed.• Assist with maintaining and correcting inventory locations on perishable tooling and shop supplies.• Issue tooling and other supplies from the crib to shop team member in an accurate and timely manner.• Maintain accurate inventories of supplies and tooling. This involves accurate cycle counting and ordering items as needed as well as correct computer input of inventory information. Focus is on accuracy and minimizing inventory levels to the lowest level while still meeting the needs of the production floor.• Order tooling as required; establish acceptable Kanban quantities.• Keep work area organized and clean.REQUIREMENTS:• 2 years as a CNC machine operator.• Able to use measuring equipment, to include micrometers, comparator, Smart Scope, profilometer, thread gages, pins, etalon, and digital linear gage.• High School Diploma.• Technical School or College Diploma a plus.• Able to read and understand blueprints.• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.New employees are eligible for the following benefits effective date of hire!• Medical, dental, and vision benefits• Company-paid life insurance• Generous Paid time off and 10 paid Holidays• 401k Plan with Company Match• Tuition Reimbursement• Paid Lunch
