Overview :
ViaPath is looking for a Technician 1, Tablet Repair to join our growing team. The role of the Technician 1, Tablet Repairs is to support the analysis and repair of high volumes of android tablet computers and requires the ability to prioritize tasks, proactively identify and address issues, and exercise clear communication.
This position will be based in our climate controlled warehouse.
Responsibilities :
Perform CTP screen and battery replacements
Perform board level component replacement, i.e. auxiliary and USB jacks which requires soldering
Ability to disassemble, work with small, delicate components and reassemble correctly
Provide recommendation for problem resolution
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective repairs
Be organized, thorough and accurate while diagnosing and repairing tablets
Ability to work independently and with a team
Have a great attitude with a willingness to learn
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required
A minimum of 1 year of related repair experience (Tablet, Cell phone, etc.)
Soldering skills preferred
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Must have a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Self-motivated
Basic computer skills, MS Office suite a plus
