Description
PURPOSE
IT Support Technicians assist with monitoring and maintaining computer systems, software, and networks across the multiple campuses. They provide Tier 1 IT support and ensure that the various IT systems, hardware, and infrastructure are operational in order to aid the staff in carrying out the vision and mission of Victory Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
Operations and Support
- Monitor and prioritize the IT Helpdesk Tickets and provide first line of support to the staff.
- Provide support for all end-user devices; desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment
- Responsible for new device setups, device upgrades, and device replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software, printing, and basic network issues.
- Support the roll-out of new applications and help test and evaluate new technologies.
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of hardware and software used by staff.
- Work within Active Directory and Office 365 to create, change, and delete user accounts.
- Assist with administrating Office 356, Mosyle MDM, Rock ChMS, and other software systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional technical teams and provide support as needed.
- Aid with office setups and office moves.
- Assist with Onboarding and Offboarding staff.
Maintenance
- Apply Operating System patches, updates, and upgrades on a regular basis.
- Create a knowledge base of technical documentation for internal and external purposes.
- Help to develop and maintain defined configurations and best practices for device setups.
- Manage virus protection software and help maintain a secure IT environment.
- Maintain updated equipment and peripheral inventory records within MDM software and other inventory system tools.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, experience and training in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
- Flexible Schedule (Available Nights & Weekends)
- IT Certifications in Microsoft Office 365 or Comptia A is a definite Plus.
- Reliable Transportation Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working within Windows Active Directory
- Proficient with MacOS and Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with VMware and server virtualization technology
