Job Overview:

The Membership Department Team leader delivers the highest quality customer service to all members, guests, and employees. The team leader is responsible for making sales and enforcing all policies, procedures, daily cadences, and job descriptions for the membership department. Training all membership team members in conjunction with the VP of Sales. This includes pipeline management, Daily call volume, response time, member attrition, and managing the daily sales activities audits in their assigned club locations. These activities include daily sales versus quota, membership prospecting activities, Coordination of events, real-time sales team coaching, and inspiring the membership team to achieve sales and retention goals while also being a contributing membership closer to their assigned locations.

This position is a full-time position scheduled for 45 hours per week. The TL (Team Lead) will report directly to the VP of Sales. Duties:

- Manage and supervise department staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock replenishment

- Implement effective strategies to maximize sales and meet department goals

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department

- Collaborate with other department leads to optimize store operations

- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff

- Utilize POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and loss prevention

Experience:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service required

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth

- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members

- Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in training development and staff supervision

- Familiarity with payroll processes and basic understanding of retail management principles

Specific Job Functions:

Meet or exceed monthly membership sales, net and team goals, and retention goals.

(This is an essential function of the position)

Coach the Membership team in each assigned location, this includes training, coaching, and real-time development.

Run CRM/pipeline management reports and hold the sales team accountable at the direction of the VP Of Sales

Execute weekly call campaigns targeting specific groups to drive additional sales for each assigned location and manage its sales cycle.

Coach the membership team according to their activity audits to increase performance.

Ensure that assigned clubs’ membership teams exceed their monthly membership sales quota.

Assist with hitting targets for Sales, Vida fit schedules, Net club goals, Team club goals, and individual goals, and help drive revenue to other departments by assisting in new member engagement events and scheduling appointments.

Hold the membership team accountable for using the CRM and hold them accountable for the flawless execution of our systems.

Work with the membership team to Proactively market VIDA to the outside community, businesses, and residential buildings and help them plan events to generate additional leads.

Ensure the membership team runs their daily numbers and builds a daily plan for success every day.

Report membership operations goals and strategy at daily stand-up to other club leaders.

Work mid-month and end-of-month close-out alongside the membership team.

Produce sales alongside the membership team and set an example of the highest standards.

Communicate with general managers to ensure the membership team is getting the best support possible at the club level and work with the VP of sales for performance management-related department issues.

Report directly to the VP of sales any membership team member issues, concerns and coaching opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $105,619.00 per year
