What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Videographer position at Video Litigation Professionals?
Summary:
The position of legal video specialist exists to provide a recording of legal deposition proceedings per Code of Civil Procedure (Federal or that of other states when we are hired from out of state) and to represent our company and our clients in a professional manner.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Technically inclined, with strong understanding of audio/visual connections, components and ability to troubleshoot.
- Punctuality – there is absolutely no room for tardiness in this position as clients will fire us for being late without a 2nd chance.
- Prompt Communication – Be readily in touch to confirm calendar, changes to calendar, availability, changes you hear on your end, upcoming depositions, etc.
- Professional appearance and demeanor – you will be required to dress in business attire and conduct yourself in a business professional manner.
- Excellent customer service skills – you will need to answer attorney questions, reporter requests and assist with meeting deadlines.
- Reliable transportation – you will need to be able to get to deposition venues without issue and, again, ON TIME.
- Perform other video related services that may include: editing, assisting with equipment, video archival, video playbacks, internet streaming and other related duties.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
