- Currently seeking individuals with knowledge on Linkers, stuffers, choppers, mixers, conveyors, smokehouses, packaging machines, dock levelers & thermal forming packaging machines.
- Knowledge of electrical, plc, basic hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and welding.
- Must take part in helping educate and motivate current & new maintenance employees.
- Monitor & maintain plant Utilities, low pressure steam boilers, wastewater & fire suppression system.
- Work with and assist outside contractors performing repairs or Scheduled PM.
- Ability to perform weekend maintenance activities as needed.
- Support the production operation by providing immediate response to all breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
- Commitment to following safety policies and practices while upholding the company policies and ethical standards.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures in order resolve issues with various plant & house equipment.
- Performs preventative & corrective maintenance as indicated by maintenance supervisor using CMMS software Mpulse.
- Must have the ability to plan necessary repairs by ordering parts with the use of a parts manual.
- Ability to learn Proper PM process performed on production equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Maintenance Manager.
