Program Manager for Community Music School

We are in search of a dedicated, resourceful leader to join our team as we grow our second school location. Village Music School has expanded into Walnut Creek!

Responsibilities include the following:

• Ensure a Premium, Enjoyable Experience for all Students and Families

• Lead Curriculum Design and Adoption for Village Premium Class Content and Program Offerings

• Source and Onboard Excellent Music & Arts Instructors for our Music School and Summer Camps

• Source and Onboard Additional Administrative Team Members

• Serve as Lead Support for Village Teachers

• Lead Strategy for Student Registration and Retention

• Assist in Expanding Village Summer Camp Partnerships

• Lead Special School Events – Recitals, Ensembles and Student Showcases

• Manage Administrative and Instructor Team Performance Achieving Company Objectives

• Our Program Director will lead in both our Pleasant Hill and new Walnut Creek locations.

• Implement Strategies for Ongoing Team Celebration

Position Qualifications:

• Successful history of team building, staffing and staff management

• Infectious energy and a track record of successful relationship-building

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Musical and/or performing arts experience is preferred

• Acute analytic, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to strategically prioritize action items for self and directs

• Good humored and approachable to students, parents, and faculty

• 2 years' experience as music educator and/or arts administrator

• 2 years teaching music or theatre to children
