Charge Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Oversee patient care and ensure adherence to medical protocols
- Coordinate and manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records
- Conduct medical imaging procedures, such as mammography or spinal taps, as required
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Provide ostomy care for patients with specialized needs
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients as needed

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of [Location]
- Minimum [X] years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with experience in [specific area]
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and protocols, including discharge planning and infection control
