The Echo Sonographer performs the daily clinical operations and a wide variety of technical procedures including, but not limited to, adult and pediatric echo, stress echo, contrast imaging, agitated saline studies, and Holter analysis. Enters exam data into CPACs system, ensures completeness of exam, and prepares exam for interpretation. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
Must-Haves
- BLS required upon hire - AHA American Heart Association
- Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR certification within one year of hire date.
- Graduates of CAAHEP approved school of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.
