About The Role 

Virgil is hiring for a part time remote therapist who is licensed in California to contribute to our IOP program. You will use evidence-based practices when conducting all therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention, assessing for high risk behaviors, and supporting clients through their treatment. All therapeutic services and clinical meetings will be held virtually with the team. Hours required will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4PM-7PM ET and/or 6PM-9PM ET.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct confidential, quality assessments, that are gender-responsive and trauma-informed for a wide range of psychiatric disorders and ages
  • Perform client intakes, assessments and individual therapy sessions 
  • Work with the multidisciplinary treatment team in developing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support clients
  • Work closely with clients to engage them in the decision-making process and help them understand the benefits of assessment and accessing the appropriate level of care as indicated
  • Complete paperwork requirements and maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records; enter necessary information into Wilton Cross’ Counseling’s electronic medical records (EMR) system

What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Minimum State licensure as follows: LCSW, LSW, LMFT, LCADC or LPC
  • At least 2x years of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders 
  • Strong computer skills required; experience with EMR system a plus
  • Reliable internet connection and professional work from home setting to maintain client confidentiality and remain HIPAA compliant

  • Demand - Deliver top notch products and services to our growing number of patients. You’ll work with patients to understand pain points and optimize the patient journey from first contact to start of care to offboarding.
  • Supply - Own and manage the relationship with our clinical practitioners. You are responsible for the growth of our clinician ecosystem by attracting, recruiting, and retaining high quality behavioral care providers. 
  • Platform - Build tools and provide services to optimize and improve the delivery of clinical care. You’ll help match the right provider with the right family, coordinate clinical care, and develop digital therapeutics products.
  • Quality - Improve the quality of care delivered to our patients. You’ll ensure that we provide strong clinical outcomes, develop training platforms to level up our providers, and maintain compliance with a variety of payor and regulatory requirements.
