The Virginia Talent Accelerator’s Talent Acquisition Brand Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects with the world’s most prestigious companies as they deploy leading edge technologies at their new or expanding Virginia locations. The successful candidate will have experience creating, utilizing, and efficiently implementing innovative and resourceful brand management tactics for talent attraction engaging wide and diverse audiences to create a robust talent network for our clients’ open positions.
Client openings will range from manufacturing technicians to leadership and professional positions. Branding support will feature marketing for openings considered difficult to fill as well as for mass hiring of hourly positions. Clients include both established multi-national firms and emerging start-ups. The Talent Acquisition Brand Manager will also collaborate with our in-house talent acquisition services, creative services, and video teams to develop comprehensive media strategies, tactics, and content.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client human resources, talent acquisition teams, and communications/marketing or related subject-matter experts to identify and define targeted audiences for attracting talent
- Serve as Virginia Talent Accelerator’s primary point of contact for talent acquisition services on assigned portfolio of clients
- Recommends right mix of media buys in support of project objectives, tracks, and reports campaign results
- Create new and/or refine existing talent attraction messaging and solutions in support of blended tactics for diverse audiences
- Identify assorted media channels to promote client’s brand and value proposition to fully advertise opportunities aligned with client’s hiring needs
- Develop relationships with colleges/universities, community-based talent acquisition partners, transitioning military organizations, etc., for outreach and client brand development
- Contribute to development of a talent acquisition suite of services as core offerings, including but not limited to digital and social campaign management, virtual hiring event advertisements, hands-on recruitment support, and all related services
Job Qualifications:
- Developing leading marketing, branding, content, digital, and social media strategies for execution independently
- Capabilities in writing and designing compelling communications that align with established client brands and requisite criteria
- Exposure or familiarity with candidate experience mapping and/or best practices
- Proficiency leveraging online platforms and social media such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google (Ads and analytics), Wix, Word Stream, Hire Vue, Square Peg, Canva, and related tools used for recruitment marketing (significant plus)
- Solid attention to detail, providing clear and timely feedback, and leading final creative development to be on time and brand
- Facilitation of media traffic workflow and ability to articulate priorities when interacting with internal teams, agencies, and service providers
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, advertising, or closely related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition, talent branding, recruitment marketing, brand management, or related role
- Private sector experience working in and/or with large, multinational firms preferred
