Position Specifics:
Department: Sales
Reports to: Vice President/Sales Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Professional who oversees a sales team and ensures quotas are being met for the company. As a Sales Coordinator, you will act as the liaison by providing valuable feedback from the customers and sales team to upper management.
Responsibilities:
· Reports directly to the Sales Manager
· Assists Sales Manager in various aspects of the day to day operation of the sales department
· Very computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), report preparation
· Must be able to interact and communicate will with employees and customers
· Must be physically able to work with machinery, some moderate lifting, be outside in different types of climates
· Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings, some weekends and occasional overnight travel
· Must be able to drive between several locations within the state of Virginia
· Needs dependable transportation and a clean driver’s license
· Professional appearance
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
· 4 year business degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proven ability to lead and inspire others
· Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations
· Ability to use Deere sales computer applications and tools
· Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
