VHCC awards credentials and continuing education courses as well as Associate of Applied Science degrees, Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates.The successful candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for performing a variety of support tasks associated with payroll operations.Position Responsibilities Include:Provide professional and courteous customer service to all employeesIndependently prepares and assists all payroll functionsUpdates and maintains employee master files and databases from source documentsPrepares and inputs all payrolls according to VHCC, state, and federal guidelines and lawsUpdates employee fringe benefit and deductions as appropriateReconciles payroll and helps identify and resolve discrepanciesAnswer employee payroll questionsPrepares and submits accurate payroll reports by deadlinesAssisting with onboarding of new employeesHandle direct deposit requests and changesVerification of hours worked, leave requests, and pay adjustmentsProvides support for the HR Director’s office
