Team Leader Imaging Service Technician
Location : Randallstown, MD
Trusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader Imaging Service Technician to join our partner hospital in Randallstown, MD.
This role involves coordinating and supervising the technical activities within a specific imaging modality, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Technical Leadership : Oversee the daily technical operations of the assigned imaging area (e.g., CT, Ultrasound, or MRI), ensuring adherence to protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Management : Schedule and supervise the work of assigned technologists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control : Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective utilization.
- Budget Planning : Assist in preparing the annual operating and capital budget for the imaging area.
- Policy and Procedure Development : Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, promoting efficiency and best practices.
- Quality Improvement : Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Technical Support : Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to technologists as needed.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience : 5-7 years of technical / clinical experience in the relevant imaging modality (CT, Ultrasound, or MRI).
- Licensure / Certification :
- Maryland License - Certified Medical Radiation Technologist with Advanced Level CT Certification (if applicable to the assigned imaging modality)
- ARRT Registered
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
Skills :
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer applications and imaging technology systems.
