The Dosimetrist will be responsible for designing and delivering radiation treatments to patients under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. This role involves utilizing advanced treatment planning techniques and ensuring accuracy in dose calculation while adhering to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform treatment planning utilizing Mosaic and Monaco software systems.
- Calculate and verify radiation doses and ensure treatment plans meet prescribed requirements.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment procedures and potential side effects.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
- A certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dosimetrist.
- Proficiency in using Mosaic and Monaco treatment planning systems.
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required as per hospital policy.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Local candidates preferred; no radius restriction.
- Pending state license accepted; ideally, no more than 5 days to obtain.
- Parking is available with a shuttle service from Ryan Field for day and evening shifts. Night parking arrangements are available at employee rates.
