Your Role As An Emergency Department RN

As an Emergency Department RN, you will:

  • Provide rapid assessment and critical care to patients with a wide range of urgent medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective care.
  • Utilize your expertise in triage, stabilization, and treatment of emergency cases.
  • Remain calm and focused under pressure, making quick decisions and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Advocate for patients and provide emotional support to their families.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Alaska Licensed Vocational Nurse license upon hire
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS within 90 days of hire)
  • 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Certification in area of specialty
