Job Description
We're looking for an Employee Communications professional with the right mix of experience, creativity, project oversight and technical skills to implement and execute internal communication campaigns that support Visa's people programs and initiatives. These include human resources and People operations, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, career development, benefits, wellness, employee experience and recognition, compensation and learning.
As Manager, Global People Communications, you will operate as an individual contributor supporting the development and execution of strategies, messages and key deliverables to communicate Visa's People and HR initiatives and programs to the company's global workforce of nearly 30K. This involves collaborating closely with subject matter experts to understand and translate information into easy-to-understand, actionable and compelling content that resonates with Visa employees. This function will also support executive communications and regularly connect with other functional and regional communications leads to share best practices and support cross functional collaboration and execution opportunities. The position reports to Director, Global People Communications.
Responsibilities Are as Follows
Create and execute multi-channel communication plans for ongoing and new People programs, including benefits, compensation, talent and performance management, employee experience and recognition and People operations.
Manage project intake and development as well as communications feedback and approval processes.
Provide guidance and counsel to People program owners and People leadership on messaging, timing and best practices for engaging employees. Able to clearly and succinctly present ideas to leadership.
Write, produce and edit communications content, intranet stories, emails, video scripts, etc., manage vendor work and relationships as needed.
Act as liaison between business partners and Internal Digital Platform team to build and execute channel and promotions plans.
Calendar and track status of deliverables and measure impact of communication.
Ensure that all relevant employee communication is delivered in a way that is timely, accurate and on brand.
Align People content with the company vision, business strategy and leadership principles.
Support other key employee communications initiatives based on business and resource needs.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in marketing, communications, PR, English, or related discipline.
• Five or more years of marketing, public relations or communications experience.
• Internal communications for a global organization, a communications agency or workplace consulting firm preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stellar editorial proficiency (writing, editing, proofing). A writing test will be a part of the interview process.
• Ability to influence others and build relationships within an organization, communicate regularly with key individuals and interface with all levels of staff, including senior leadership.
• An understanding of communications as a change enabler. Experience in change management initiatives a plus.
• Hands-on team player with outstanding project management and strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good judgment skills and able to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 106,700.00 to 154,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
