TASKS OF THE POSITION
• Supervise effective staff hiring, development and coaching, with direct involvement as needed to create
and retain an effective, team-oriented unit workforce.
• Responsible for training and development, and performance management of unit supervisors to enhance
service delivery by providing regular supervision and continued on-the-job training.
• Demonstrate leadership with supervisors and team leaders through organizational responsibility for daily
unit functions, including review and improvement of incident reports, daily review of medication administration, review of all security/environmental checklists, review and processing of supply orders, and review and monitoring of all budget needs/expenses.
• Oversight of regular unit and management team meetings.
• Review and monitor small item purchase requisitions, petty cash disbursements/reimbursements, all as prepared by the supervisor.
• Ensure ratio and monitor overtime of schedules on a weekly basis.
• Review and approve payroll in a timely manner, with timely follow up as needed.
• Participate in referral information of all clients and assist with admission and orientation of all new clients.
• Review and monitor all corrective action plans to ensure full compliance.
• Assist the Quality department with retrieving information as required for corrective action plans, investigations, or audits, as necessary.
• Review all daily unit reports and unit communication logs.
• Model and facilitate, along with the supervisors and team leaders, dispute resolution between clients and
staff as necessary or pursuant to requests from clients.

• Proven strong work ethic and job performance. Must be able to lead by example.
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, sound decision-making and organizational skills.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at once and have excellent time management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to interact positively in a culturally diverse environment.
• Computer literacy skills, proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective conflict resolution skillset.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Directly supervise residential Supervisors.
