What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Advisor (USAID/Egypt) position at Vistant?
Location: In-Country, but not primarily On-Site
Period of Performance: June 2023 to May 31, 2024
Level of Effort: up to 200 hours

Vistant is seeking competent and reputable law firms in support of USAID/Egypt who can provide high quality, timely, accurate, and actionable legal information, analysis and advice in a variety of forms, including but not limited to:
- Written and oral legal opinions to answer questions based on Egyptian law;
- Written and oral legal reviews and analyses of USAID/Egypt-provided documents to
- identify possible impacts of Egyptian law;
- Written and oral legal advice to inform USAID/Egypt of possible courses of action that
- may be legally advantageous or disadvantageous under Egyptian law;
- Written and oral advice regarding the practical impact of Egyptian law on USAID/Egypt's
- programs and operations; and
- Information and analysis about Egypt's legal system, current or draft laws, Egyptian legal
- opinions and other sources of law, or prospective changes in the Egyptian law or the legal
- system that _affect USAID/Egypt's programs and operations.
USAID/Egypt is particularly interested in firms with expertise in the following fields:
- Local labor/Employment law, nonprofit and local foundation law, and
- Cybercrimes Law under the jurisdiction of the Economic courts-particularly the
- implementation of the Anti-Cyber and Information Technology Crimes law.
