Thursday-Monday, 12:00am-0830 a.m. (Nights)

- Assists with trainings
- Perform record review as assigned
- Perform moderate and high complexity testing
- Perform quarantine as assigned
- Perform preventative maintenance on lab equipment
- Assist with reconciliation of reports
As a Laboratory Technician you will be supporting Vitalant’s life saving mission by working within the lab and be responsible for component production, labeling, record reviewing, and high complexity testing.

High School graduate or GED required.
Licenses/Certifications
None
Experience
No experience required.
Skills/Abilities
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Must be able to maintain donor, patient and employee confidentiality.
Must possess basic keyboarding skills and the ability to handle and operate laboratory equipment.
Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when necessary.
