Vitality Works, Inc. is looking for a motivated and dedicated individual for our QC Sensory Analyst position.
The QC Sensory Analyst will work closely with the QC Supervisor and Quality Manager to provide support functions relating to sensory testing of products before, during, and after the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure top quality.

Job Summary:
• Responsible for assessing product quality and consistency of received and manufactured
herbal products in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
Duties and Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
• Predominantly responsible for organoleptic testing of intermediate liquid formulas
• Responsible for approving raw herb, dry and liquid raw herbal components and updating
appropriate databases
• Cross-train on Botanist duties with regard to organoleptic analysis in evaluating and releasing
raw herbs as well as dry and liquid raw herbal components.
• Responsible for approving and releasing liquid formula approval
• Responsible for investigating nonconforming products and disposition
• Responsible for Alcohol and tobacco tax and trade bureau (TTB) formula submission,
tracking, investigating nonconformance and properly maintaining associated documentation
and databases
• Investigate pertinent customer complaints relating to sensorial quality issues and submit
findings to QC/QA manager
• Batch Record review
• Other duties as assigned by the QA/QC manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to manage work load and priorities independently in a dynamic production environment
• Working knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for
the Dietary Supplement Industry
• Analytical skills pertaining to manufacturing and laboratory activities
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Computer literate in MS office
• Excellent mathematical skills
