Traveler friendly facility in Glens Falls, NY looking for a Case Manager RN. BLS preferred. Must have 3 years recent experience in Case Management. This is a Registered Nurse Case Management position for the medical/surgical and/or telemetry unit. The individual will need to be able to participate in Multidisciplinary Rounds, collaborate kindly and closely with our Hospitalist and Nursing Teams and managed a 20-23 RN CM case load in order to achieve organizational goals. NYS PRI certified preferred. UM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities for this job are:

• Managing and leading all nursing personnel operations.
• Developing short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
• Establishing new policies and updating existing policies to improve the standard of care for patients.
• Planning and overseeing admission, nursing, and patient care processes.
• Maintaining department budgets and recording all expenses.
• Responding to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with medical staff and other departments to ensure hospital efficiency.
