Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the new hire process from offer accepted stage to following up of new hire paperwork to start date. Following up on all required new hire documentation prior to start date.
- Responsible for entering new hires into the HRIS system, as well as uploading all required new hire documentation into the system for recordkeeping
- Ensure that all required new hire documents are signed and fully executed (I-9, W-4, etc)
- Arrange CPR Classes and follow up with all new hires and existing employees for attendance
- Ensuring compliance with CPR dates, TB, and Physicals for all employees in the system
- Responsible for monthly compliance checks for every employee in the company
- Respond to all requests for verification of employment
- Maintain and update company organizational charts
- Track and update time off requests and call outs in the HRIS system
- Responsible for keeping track of employee birthdays and updating the shared calendar
- Serve as a backup for new Hire Orientations
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years experience in human resources required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience with HRIS, Microsoft Suite and Google Suite required
- Desire to work as a team with a “results-driven” approach
- Strong time management and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
