OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The primary responsibility and requirements of this position is to handle on-site human resources. These objectives are achieved by performing the following duties:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties:
- Maintain performance improvement activities within the community departments
- Provides guidance and ideas with daily HR procedures in your communities
- Processes payroll time edits, ensuring payroll looks correct before sending off to be processed
- Responsible for full-cycle recruiting of all staff for the long term care side of the business
- Works well with Corporate HR, establishing a solid work rapport
- Provides onboarding/orientations to new employees
- Submits background checks, credentialing of clinical and licensed staff, and OIG’s monthly
- Schedules meetings, interviews, HR Events, witness note taking, and etcetera
- Ensures employees have proper immunizations/vaccines
- Maintains both hard and digital/electronic employee files
- Conducts training to communities on the standard orientation process
- Provides Tier I employee relations support
- Escalates employee relations Tier II and Tier III to Corporate HR Field Manager or Director, Corporate
HR & Strategy
- Manages on-site worker’s compensation claims
- Keeps Corporate HR informed daily
- Demonstrate leadership, visibility, and build trust among all internal and external business functions, facilities in which we provide services.
- Fantastic organizational and time-management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Produce reports, as required for proper understanding of analytics
- Meticulous attention to detail required
- Maintains confidentiality at all times
- Follows established and defined standards in all work tasks and responsibilities
Other Duties:
- Assists with Payroll based journal (PBJ)
- Expected to be available after hours for emergency situations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- THE MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related HR experience required
- 2 years HR exempt level experience preferred, HRIS and payroll experience preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check.
- COVID Vaccine Required or Valid Exemption.
