We are currently seeking a Strong Maintenance Technician!
The right fit Maintenance Technician will work with the Team to provide quality Make Ready’s for Move-in. Follow company guideline for Service Request. Work hand and hand with your Maintenance Team and Property Team to provide great customer service to our Residents. The perfect fit will take ownership of their property and take pride in the appearance of their Apartment community, it’s amenities, grounds and buildings.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the supervision vendor work performed on the property
- Maintain Inventory levels, submit order to Property Manager for approval of all necessary supplies, including housekeeping.
- Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are always complied with
- Perform, schedule daily maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Complete unit turns (Make Ready)
- Assist with the bid process
- Assist in the training of Maintenance Team
- Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are clean and orderly
- Maintain MSDS sheets as well as replacement logs
- Handle all lock-changes as a result of evictions or otherwise
- Follow company guidelines regarding Service Requests
- Be available to work on an on-call basis
- Report unusual or extraordinary observation to Property Manger
- Remove snow and ice as necessary
- Ensure necessary tools are on hand
- Requirements:
- Apartment maintenance/handyman experience A MUST
- HVAC certified or the ability to become certified, plumbing, and electrical
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with Residents and Vendors
- Supervisory experience preferred
