Lead Scrum Master

In this role, you will provide coaching for teams and technology leaders while integrating Agile frameworks across the enterprise. You will manage at least one team as an operating Scrum Master and will utilize the remainder of bandwidth as an initiative leader coordinating multiple teams working on small to mid-sized programs and / or leading internal Agile education initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Foster agile best practices while developing process methodology, performance metrics, and process improvements.
• Communicate with team members and leadership to create clarity and transparency of work progress.
• Research and develop performance metrics for both teams and programs.
• Assess and analyze both team and departmental Agile framework health.
• Improve Agile framework standards and procedures within team processes.
• Introduce and facilitate Agile framework corrective practices and adjustments.
• Gather, review, and present program updates when needed.
• Manage and provide timely communications on dependencies and risks that span across teams / functional areas.
• Work with Technology Department leadership and teams to promote team organization.
• Serve as a role model for leadership and executive relationship management across the enterprise.
• Facilitate and coordinate team quarterly planning processes.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant work experience required.

• Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
• Previous experience performing at a Sr. Scrum Master (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience as Scrum Master, Project and/or Program Manager required.
• Previous experience as Project Manager/Program Manager is preferred.
• Demonstrate ability implementing and applying Agile principles, practices, and theory.
• Knowledge of Agile approaches and techniques such as: XP, Kanban, FDD, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
