WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
- Prospecting new clients through cold/warm calls, email, and marketing events to power positive, long-term relationships
- Assessing client technology goals and challenges by offering a myriad of solutions
- Building relationships with manufacturing and distribution partners
- Upping your technical knowledge with regular training and certifications
- Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities and qualified leads
- Present business solutions to prospective customers with extensive follow-up and coaching
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience as a business development rep preferred, but not required
- Strong consultative or process background and ability to lead people in discussions to uncover needs and prioritize requirements
- Experience leading demonstrations, preferred
- Self-starter with a solid work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
- Knowledge of business organization structures, buying influences, negotiation, and purchasing processes preferred, however on-the-job training will be provided
- Shows capacity to learn quickly and receptive to directions and training
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Strong verbal communications, written and presentation skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
