What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Business Designer position at VMLY&R?
At VMLY&R, we create connected brands. We resist the usual ways of seeing, doing and thinking — harnessing creativity, technology and culture — to reimagine the entire connected consumer experience. Our goal? To create work that becomes part of people’s lives, to drive value for our clients and, in the best of cases, to impact the world.
The new business designer will create graphics and dynamic presentations/presentation materials for prospective client pitches. As a part of the New Business team, you will concept how a design comes to life across multiple touchpoints throughout the pitch lifecycle. This includes written materials, microsites, Keynote decks, as well as a variety of physical and digital deliverables.
All designs should communicate the right message, for the right brand—and since this is a hyper-paced environment, the New Business team consistently interacts with a variety of brands across markets. The New Business team is often engaged on projects that demand agility to meet challenging deadlines. For this, you will demonstrate an understanding of how content and design innately dictate one another.
