The Connections Supervisor, Organic Search helps deliver cutting edge, high-quality SEO work that is customized to each client's goals. This includes performing organic search analysis, discovery, execution and performance reporting of search engine optimization strategy and deliverables to ensure VMLY&R delivers a holistic, inclusive approach for all client needs.
Organic Search Expertise
- In-depth Expert-level understanding and application of technical, on-page, off-page, mobile, local, international and e-commerce SEO skills.
- Common deliverables include SEO audits, keyword research outline, analysis and opportunity decks, competitive analyses, mobile optimization, technical SEO requirements and consultation, on-page optimization, content development workflow support, off-page asset optimization, local listing optimization, performance analysis and reporting.
- Think beyond tactical SEO execution to deliver high-level strategic insights and recommendations for custom-tailored, best-in-class SEO for each client.
- Conduct extensive keyword research and keyword sorting to discover and relay best opportunities for content optimization.
- Develop and consult on search engine optimization efforts that provide tangible results for clients based on previously defined goals.
- Stay current on the latest SEO updates tools, reporting capabilities, and influencers to help keep VMLY&R at the forefront of the industry. Proactively keep necessary parties, clients and internal VMLY&R teams informed on current SEO trends and changes.

Required Experience
- Agency experience preferred.
- Technical SEO implementation experience preferred.
- Experience with cross-functional teams including content strategy, development, and accessibility.
- Enterprise, Fortune 500, and multinational clients experience preferred.
- Experience with local search a bonus preferred.
- E-commerce/shopping/retail search experience a bonus but not required.
- Management and leadership experience with direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in a marketing, advertising, business, or communications field preferred.
- 5-7 years industry experience
- Adobe Analytics experience a plus, not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Looker, and Screaming Frog is a bonus.
