Full-Time - Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Care ($15,000 Sign-on Bonus)

These individuals have conditions that are acute or chronic and require the skill of our dedicated clinicians.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assesses patient's physical, mental, emotional, socioeconomic, financial, spiritual, cultural, and environmental factors, which affect health status and the person's ability to cope with illness and/or disability
• Directly responsible and accountable for rendering skilled nursing care to the patient and completing all associated documentation
• Demonstrates politeness, consideration for other's concerns, and is public relations oriented
• Coordinate and apply Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement source criteria and guidelines in clinical documentation
• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient
• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
• Provides health education specific to the needs of the patient and caregivers

Required Skills:

• Requires an understanding and acceptance of patients' various cultures and a variety of socio-economic and educational backgrounds
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and move patients
• Requires an in-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures and skills as well as an understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the Home Health Care Agency.
• Must be competent to carry out emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Community health experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and automobile with current insurance coverage and in good working conditions available to use for work.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned county.
