Stryker is seeking to hire an Associate Designer, R&D to support Medical's Acute Care Product Engineering team. This role is focused on product/sustaining engineering. This role is hybrid, working a minimum of 3 days per week in the office at our Portage, MI location.

What You Will Do:
- Use PTC Creo to create and revise CAD data. This will typically involve the revision of already existing CAD drawings and CAD assemblies;
- Use PTC Windchill and MasterControl to control the workflow and lifecycle of electronic data;
- Revise elements of the device master record to meet QSR and product sustainment needs;
- Write, contribute to, and expedite Engineering Change Orders through appropriate control and approval processes;
- Act as poweruser in Windchill, which includes assisting and training design engineers with and troubleshooting the product data lifecycle in Windchill;
- Understand, interpret, and apply design needs to technical drawing specifications;
- Review engineering and supporting documents to verify adherence to company and industry standards;
- Receive work from and collaborate with multiple engineers to resolve production issues.
What You Need:
- 3 years of experience - related discipline preferred (e.g. experience in manufacturing) OR an Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering Graphics, or related engineering / manufacturing curriculum;
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly;
- Facility in trigonometry and analytical geometry;
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting;
- Working knowledge in the interpretation of technical drawings;
- Facility with MS Office.
- Working knowledge of Solidedge.
Starting $23.24/hr. - $31.89/hr., plus bonus eligible Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program).This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data.
