Salary Range: USD $85,920 – $96,660 per year

Bonus: Quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in West Chester, OH. Reporting directly to the Plant Superintendent, you will oversee safety, quality, productivity, material handling, cost performance, and employee management for your assigned shift. This role is for the 2nd shift, running from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety and Best Practices: Lead and enforce safety protocols and best manufacturing practices for your shift.
• Production Scheduling: Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands, manage overtime, minimize inventory, and reduce costs.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing.
• Employee Management: Provide direction, training, and development for hourly employees, and handle counseling or discipline as necessary.
• Operational Performance: Identify, propose, and implement capital projects to enhance operational performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Ability to work the 2nd shift.
• Experience in safety and production scheduling is a plus.
• Familiarity with work tools such as SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing is advantageous.
  

Compensation

• Base Salary: Annual base salary range from $85,920 to $96,660.
• Bonus: Quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
