What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Vogel Chevrolet?
Customer Relations: Greeting, checking in, answering phone calls & scheduling appointments based on customer description of work to be performed, updating customers with vehicle status, ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of repairs. Listening to customer requests based on their personal circumstances.
Documentation & Execution: Thorough and clear communication of the customer request to the technician assigned to the work. Validation that all customer requests are performed before the vehicle leaves the shop. Typing up & billing out work orders, accurately depicting the work that was performed.
Estimating: Creating accurate estimates for current or future repairs. Pricing out vehicle maintenance based on the manufacturer's or Dealership's recommendation.
Warranty/Extended Warranty Claims: Informing customers of manufacturer warranty coverage. Assisting the customer in getting claims covered under the applicable manufacturer or aftermarket warranties.
Works under the supervision of the Service Manager.
Requirements:
- Good automotive knowledge base
- Good communication skills
- Computer fluency
- High level of professionalism & friendliness - eye contact
- Ability to work well with others
- Valid Driver's License

Pay: $56,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
