The Team
Small, but mighty, our growing sales department owns the tall task of maturing ALL Conversational AI (CAI) experiences Enterprises have in the market and will be deploying over the coming years. In 2021 we know anything can be built, but pleasant experiences that solve end user problems need to be designed and designing for successful end results is a team sport. We work with the biggest and brightest in Financial Services (custom assistants), Automotive (think in car), Retail (chat bots, call centers, IVR) and many more verticals towards a fast approaching future where general consumer interactions with CAI are a pleasure.
The Role
Break all the labels of what you’ve experienced or heard about your typical SaaS sales role. Selling is a baseline criteria, but what we really need are folks that can problem solve, define repeatable processes that future reps can scale, then quickly move onto the next problem. You’ll play a large part in building, testing and optimizing our go-to-market strategy, developing successful sales motions and ultimately molding the foundation and culture of our Revenue department.
What You’ll do
- Inherit a portion of current pipeline and manage opportunities to close
- Manage full cycle sales process (prospecting, qualifying, product demos, etc.)
- Partner / mentor SDRs to ensure prospecting efforts are multi-threaded, specific to accounts, contacts, titles, etc.
- Partner with CSMs to successfully onboard new clients, regularly provide value during CBRs (client business reviews) & expand current client accounts
- Be main PoC for all customer facing relationships and interactions with the goal of delivering exceptional customer experiences at every touch point
- Help direct our roadmap to ensure product market fit by sharing feedback across Voiceflow Org on behalf of our prospects and clients
- Set and define standard that you’ll be proud to help recruit and hire the next generation after you
What You’ll Bring
- History of closing & hitting sales targets in a high growth SaaS environment or similar
- High product acumen that results in a consultative sales approach and ability to manage product demos independently
- Self-starter with demonstrated examples of taking initiative to provide operational insight and value beyond core sales role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen listener that can hear, digest, understand and connect back to value
