What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Chief position at Volkert Inc?

We are currently searching for a motivated Party Chief to support our West Central Region in Springfield, MO; St. Louis, MO; or Collinsville, IL.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervises a crew which conducts field surveys as defined by the project manager.
- Accomplishes majority of survey tasks with limited interaction with supervisors and/or Land Surveyors.
- Communicates effectively with, and meets the needs of the client representative, governing agent and public representatives involved in each project; keeps the client field representative informed as to progress and problems and notifies when job is complete.
- Communicates effectively with project manager as to project progress, problems, client change requests and job completion.
What you need to have:
- 5 years of experience working as a Crew Chief
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in construction staking and boundary and topographic surveys
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills, including attention to detail
