What are the responsibilities and job description for the I9 Specialist position at Volks Resources?
- Perform the E-Verify process on employees consistent with federal requirements.
- Log I-9 audit and E-verification results into internal applications to track compliance and identify
exceptions.
- Prepare I-9 exception reporting and notify HR management of noncompliant I-9s.
- Monitor E-Verify exceptions to final resolution.
- Assist HR management with inquiries regarding validity of I-9 supporting documentation and procedural
questions.
- Provide I-9 and E-Verify documentation to internal departments and upload into HRIS system.
- Provide support to auditing I-9 forms and supporting documentation through a combination of paper
documentation and online applications for completeness and accuracy following federal requirements.
- Participate in and support various projects, as requested.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- 1 years of administrative experience required.
- 1 year of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify requirements and high volume, transaction and time-sensitive
processing a plus.
- Basic proficiency of Microsoft Office suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience with HRIS systems (preferably Workday) preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with team to produce deliverables.
- Ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Ability to demonstrate customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, and with others, and prioritize work.
- Ability to demonstrate basic problem solving skills.
- Ability to grasp new concepts, including technology, and to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and operate in an environment with regulatory/compliance requirements.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
