Job Title: Supply Chain Data Architect

Role Summary
- We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Architect to lead the collection and management of Supply Chain data through its lifecycle.
- Management of and enabling access to high quality data is critical to Molex’s Integrated Digital Supply Chain’s (IDSC) continued success.
- Our goal is to realize a more data-driven organization that is better equipped to produce the high-quality data we need to make better decisions and provide more differentiated, more compelling products and services to our customers.
Major Responsibilities
- This is a key role that will evolve how we manage, process, and access our Supply Chain data. It is a champion for global data management, governance, and quality. The role is responsible for effectively analyzing, planning, organizing, and leading data projects in support of production applications while managing risk, workload, scope, capacity, schedule, and budget. This position works closely with project sponsors, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, and technical resources (internal and third-party vendors).
Detailed Responsibilities
- Play a role in achieving the Data Strategy to drive business and process innovation
- Translate data insights to business leaders to drive adoption of supply chain
- solutions and improvement in key outcome measures
- Build effective partnerships with leaders, using data to effectively consult and influence decisions related to shaping division and department level goals.
- Collaborates with business to identify key data requirements and engages team
- members to acquire harmonize, rescale, and cleans data
- Interprets results of data models, identifies trends, issues, and develops alternatives to
- support business objectives
- Presents recommendations and actionable findings to stakeholders
- Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize data models and tools into day-to-day business decision making
- Design and support data solutions that will help the organization modernize the supply chain data management tools and processes
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Supply chain, procurement, logistics analytics experience strongly preferred
- Experience driving initiatives across multiple departments is a plus
- Experience in multiple IT solution development disciplines, including application architecture design and development, system integration, DevOps, and infrastructure architecture
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members
Full lifecycle Knowledge of the Supply Chain & Logistics architectural domain including:
- Sales and Operational Planning(S&OP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS),
- Transportation Management (TMS),
- Direct and Indirect Procurement Applications
- Information Governance, Security and Compliance
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated ability to determine the key business issues and develop appropriate action plans
- from multidisciplinary perspectives
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- and mediums, blending technical skills, analytical expertise and business acumen, and effectively able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to take an abstract assignment and drive it to clarity through concept and definition
- Demonstrates an ability to coordinate and manage large, complex projects and be able to
- negotiate and build consensus among groups or individuals with diverse interests and function effectively as a team leader in a team environment
- Ability to understand and deal effectively with problems and opportunities, which arise, in
- complex multiprocessing environment is crucial
- A self-starter who can take a bit of directional input and then take off.
- Excellent communication skills, business language is English.
- Experience working in Agile Development methodology.
