EQUIPMENT OPERATOR JOB AVAILABLE IN FULTON, MS
Volt is immediately hiring for Equipment Operator in Fulton, MS
As a Equipment Operator you will be :
- Follow procedures to ensure equipment is up to standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests within established timelines.
- Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.
- Drive powered industrial trucks as required to perform duties (sit-down).
- Move equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks or PIT.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical tools.
- Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of equipment using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
- Utilize Microsoft programs to process equipment electronically.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to effectively operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Demonstrate general mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
- Knowledgeable in construction and building maintenance.
- Ability to work at heights.
Pay Rate : $18.00 - $20 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
