What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solderer position at Volt?
JOB DESCRIPTION
Volt is immediately hiring for Solderer for a company located in Costa Mesa, CA.
As an Solderer you will :
- Checks job orders and parts numbers prior to initiating work.
- Uses acetylene torch with various fluxes and silver solder to heat valve bodies and / or parts to solder.
- Checks completed work for adherence to quality standards and work specifications.
- Assembles parts required and check blueprints.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8 hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have :
- 2-3 years with soldering experience.
- Must have great communication and able to read and follow instruction in English.
- Knowledge with machine setup and operating procedures.
- Knowledge of basic math and read blueprints.
Schedule : 5 : 00 AM to 1 : 30PM
Days : Monday-Friday
Pay Rate : $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
