What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer: Marketing Assistant position at VolunteerMatch?
GrowIN- Intergenerational Community Programming was established January 2021 in lieu of the pandemic- we saw a need due to the disconnect of our community in result of the pandemic. We also saw a need to be the light of connecting not only different generations together, but other populations of different backgrounds, abilities through meaningful opportunities of engagement.
We are new, and are establishing more programs as time goes on. By collaborating with organizations in the area, we are able to consult and creat Intergenerational programs by utilizing their skills and resources and elevate their organization and populations. Such programs we have currently are the following
IG exercise programs
IG crafting series
IG 4H basic training series
IG open mic night with music therapist
IG music jam session with Worthington Jammers
Technology learning series
IG game nights
IG sensory reminiscing groups
And so many more programs on the docket being developed.

, Come be a marketing assistant for GrowIN - Intergenerational Community Programming! This unique opportunity allows you to complete tasks from the luxury of your own home! You will assist with gathering content in the direction of marketing committee to utilize for social medias, flyers to be distributed, and organizations to connect with. You will also cowork with our other committees, potentially taking photos, promoting programs, etc. You will assist with cultivating posts, stories, ways to engage with community, and so much more! Come utilize your creativeness and attention to detail to assist us to connect with our community!
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by VolunteerMatch, in partnership with LinkedIn for Good.
