Purpose of the job:
Responsible for ensuring the fair and equitable ordering and distribution of vehicles to all Volvo Retailers and Customers. This will include managing Retailer Allocation, Stock Management and optimizing ordering processes.

Sales Operations Analyst
Position: Sales Operations Analyst
Location: Mahwah, NJ
Purpose of the job:
Responsible for ensuring the fair and equitable ordering and distribution of vehicles to all Volvo Retailers and Customers. This will include managing Retailer Allocation, Stock Management and optimizing ordering processes.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly vehicle allocations to Volvo Retailers.
- Development of tools in conjunction with external teams to optimize and streamline allocation process.
- Work closely with forecasting colleagues to ensure smooth transition from factory request to customer orders.
- Manage order submission from commercial sales, including fleet, rental, Military and Overseas Delivery.
- Point of contact for Volvo Car Corporation’s Order Scheduling Department, to ensure local implementation of factory mandates.
- Manage vehicle forecasting, ordering, management, and optimization of central stock to support Online Sales.
- Manage consignment stock, including assignment, sale and replenishment process.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis, and create presentations for business team as required
Qualifications:
- Detail oriented with excellent follow through
- College degree
- 5 years of analytical experience, automotive is a plus
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and Data Visualization preferred.
- Analytical mindset with ability to present data in an understandable format
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail oriented with attention to quality and continuous improvement.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and strong verbal and written communication skills
