As part of a team dedicated to developing and implementing new Lean concepts within the plant, the Continuous Improvement Team Development Leader will coach team representatives, team facilitators, supervisors, and Managers in order to further implement an advanced team concept model that will help drive the Continuous Improvement way of working in all areas of the New River Valley Plant.
The successful candidate in this position will work with all levels inside the plant from the Leadership Team down to the operator on the shop floor.
They will also work within the Volvo Performance System (VPS) networks to study and reinforce Lean concepts at the local and regional level.
International Travel is required.
