The Position
We’re looking to add a Strategic Account Executive to join Teletrac Navman! This role will be responsible for generating new business and revenue from product sales by using strategic selling strategies to position Teletrac Navman as the preferred platform. In this role, you will act as the face of the company by prospecting and selling into targeted environments using market experience and consultative selling skills for new logo acquisitions. Additionally, you will have a hunter mentality and be skilled at generating leads, networking, and driving results.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Some experience in working cross-organizationally to sell large, Telematic applications
- Proven track record to sell at the levels from technical manager to C-Suite levels
- 1-3 years’ experience in B2B, preferably Telematics, SAAS, IAAS, Cloud-Based Solutions, CRM or strategic sales
- Demonstrated ability cultivating, leveraging, and developing long-term customer relationships, including “C” level and Senior VP level relationships that utilize Telematics, coupled with the ability to identify, and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs
- Experience with Target Account Selling, Challenger Selling, SPIN, Sandler Selling proficiency a plus
- Utilize all the sales tools provided
- Writing and presenting professional, organized proposals
- Project Management of sales cycle activities and service implementation
- Consistently achieve Monthly and Quarterly sales quota
- Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements
- Ability to identify and cultivate market opportunities and translate technical information to customers
- Responsible to deliver sales results through sales of the entire Teletrac Navman product and service offerings

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. College Degree and/or relevant sales experience a plus
- 1-3 years of Strategic Sales experience
- 2 years directly related and progressively responsible sales experience
- Must be able to spend 50% time calling strategic prospects
- Strong understanding of a competitive landscape and closing complex sales cycles in competitive markets
- Ability to work well on an independent basis with strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of SalesForce.com
- Up to 25% domestic travel as required

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
